About Paul R. Scheele

Learning and Human Development Technologies has been my life’s work since 1975, when I was trained as a professional hypnotist in Minneapolis, Minnesota. At the time, I was a student of Biological Sciences at the University of Minnesota, with a passionate interest in helping create global awareness of ecological concerns and environmentally sustainable life practices.
My belief is that education matters to our future. As we raise consciousness and gain access more of the rich resources within us, the improved quality of our lives will reflect in a higher quality interaction with the world around us. Ultimately, caring for ourselves and others will extend to a care for Gaia, the life-force of Mother Earth. Although I am not an advocate of our global educational fundamentalism that stifles the brilliance of humanity, I am a huge fan of learning and the possibility of creating education for the liberation of genius within us all.

Currently, I am working on a PhD in Leadership and Change at Antioch University, in Yellow Springs, Ohio. I have advanced to candidacy and my dissertation topic is The Experience of Transformative Learning in Adult Collaborative Learning.
